MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Tourism launched in September last year Shopfest 2008 to promote the country as ideal destination for shoppers from different countries.
This is an annual festival the country offers for tourists and foreign shoppers.

The Greenhills Shopping Complex is among participating malls. Greenhills is the venue of the 16th Philippine Toys, Gifts, Housewares and Christmas Decors Fair from Oct. 9 to Nov. 2. Showcased are modern and antique furniture and furnishings, leather goods, arts and crafts, semi-precious jewelry and pearls, cellphones and accessories and other products.
