Galawgaw is, of course, Nida Blanca, playing the title role in Aling Kutsero. The devil-may-care jeepney driver is NOT favorite partner Nestor de Villa but Leroy Salvador.
Nida was then LVN queen and resident comedienne-dancer, while Leroy was the studio’s all-around actor. He was at home in drama and comedy.
