Martin Nievera, For Always

MANILA, Philippines - Martin Nievera has just released an album of classics from ‘80s to the ‘90s called For Always, for PolyEast Records and now available in record bars.

The all-covers CD’s kick off single is Maybe This Time, about two friends who meet again and originally popularized by Michael Murphy.

It also contains Martin’s all-time favorites from songwriter-singer Richard Marx — Now and Forever, America’s familiar song All My Life, Old Photographs popularized by Jim Capaldi; All at Once, a Whitney Houston hit; Sometimes When We Touch by Dan Hill; I’ll Always Love You by Michael Johnson; the Peter Cetera hit After All; Bryan Adams’ Heaven and (Everything I Do) I Do It For You; Heaven Knows by Rick Price; Survivor’s The Search Is Over; and The Last Time by Eric Benet.

For Always marks Martin’s 27th year in the spotlight. It also highlights another collaboration with Pops Fernandez in Reunited.

Martin’s liner notes give his thoughts about every song. For Always is also presented by Italiannis.

Martin will promote his album on March 14, 6 p.m. at Ayala Center Makati, and March 15, 6 p.m., Alabang Town Center.
