90. 7 Love Radio tops the recent surveys

MANILA, Philippines - 90.7 Love Radio has kept its ranking as the over-all No. 1 radio station, according to surveys conducted by both the Radio Research Council and AGB Nielsen. With the onset of 2009, the radio operations team at Manila Broadcasting Company has come up with biggest plans to make Love Radio a step ahead.

According to Juan Elizalde, MBC’s Vice President for radio operations, the station will implement its new jingle package. Love Radio staff is also laying the groundwork for the station’s 34th anniversary come Valentine Day.

Tambalang Balasubas at Balahura, the network’s top-rating morning program featuring Nicole Hyala and Chris Tsuper, will already be heard nationwide on all Love Radio stations. The duo’s raucous laughter and spontaneously witty repartees provide a welcome relief to tuned-in radio listeners on traffic-congested road. Nicole and Chris are also set to release their much-awaited second music outing ‘Hey, Tambalan Na — The Mas Nakakalurket Album under Ivory Records, guaranteeing a full-fledged promotional tour all over the country.

Jojo Cheung, Love Radio’s station manager, also announced that the station-initiated promos like Naka-Love Ka Pa Ba? and Love Knows No Boundaries will continue to generate more mileage for the network.
