Metro Manila Skyway hosts Christmas Tree of Hope

The Metro Manila Skyway System and Activasia, Inc. extended Christmas cheers into Metro Manila’s streets by hosting the Christmas Tree of Hope, the GMA Kapuso Foundation sponsored event that underscores its year-round commitment to the less privileged. The Christmas Tree of Hope was launched via a tree lighting ceremony last Dec. 5 at the Skyway elevated section’s Bicutan area.

The ceremony was graced by top officials of GMA Kapuso Foundation and Skyway O&M Corporation, along with its parent company Citra Metro Manila Tollways Corporation.

Aside from the Christmas Tree of Hope, there’s Give-A-Gift: Alay sa Batang Pinoy Project where donation boxes have been placed at the major toll plazas at the grade section from Magallanes to Alabang and at the elevated section from Buendia to Bicutan. Donation boxes can also be found at the Skyway Customer Service Center at Doña Soledad Ave. in Bicutan and at the Skyway offsite offices along C5, Nichols and Silangan. These boxes will be available to receive your gifts round the clock until Dec. 24.
