Claudine Barretto was no melodramatic Catherine as she sported a street glam look edging out her character’s smart, chic corporate attire at the recently-held Folded & Hung’s (F&H) Streetcast 2 at A-Venue, Makati City.
Claudine temporarily put on hold her fight against Scarlett (played by Angelica Panganiban) over Dela Rea Foods to grace the event. She walked down the catwalk without any sign that she had a hoarse voice and anemia that time.
Claudine capped the affair without resorting to the Carrie Bradshaw slip.
Joining her onstage to define streetwear were Maja Salvador and Joem Bascon. Maja led the pack of models in the black silver collection while Joem brought to fore the skinny, hip-leg flattering jeans.
Angel Locsin, another F&H endorser, was no show that night and the audience had to be content with the video showcasing Angel in pure white ushering everyone to the core of the celebration: The brand’s 10th anniversary.
Also seen strutting their stuff onstage were Phoemela Baranda, Tim Yap, Mylene Dizon and partner Paolo Paraiso. Mylene and Paolo received one of the biggest applause that evening. Mylene says she and Paolo remain friends, thus dispelling the rumor of a possible reconciliation. Mylene is conceiving their second child. Supporting the event on the sidelines were Gelli de Belen, John Estrada, Meryll Soriano, Beth Tamayo, Priscilla Meirelles, Chad Peralta, Kian Kazemi, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus housemates Nicole Uysiuseng and Alex Anselmuccio.
During the fashion show, F&H, owned and run by Adenip Incorporated, showed what it wants to bring to local fashion industry. That is to come up with trendy, competitive items.
With Claudine doing the finale of Streetcast 2, it only proved that Kapamilya stars even rule the fashion world.
