When and how did your love affair with acting start?
I actually started to like acting when I first attended an acting workshop under Talent Center before I was launched as a Star Magic artist. But my love for acting started recently with my realizations that acting is a craft that takes a lifetime to learn. I realized that being a celebrity and an actor are two different things. That is why I am working towards the latter.
What convinced you to kiss another man in Imoral?
I really don’t know. I guess because the script called for it. It was important to tell the story of the trio. I accepted this project because I wanted to do a serious role. Something different from what I have done.
In Imoral, you did love scenes with Katherine Luna and Arnold Reyes. The difference?
None. Because, I did the love scenes in character. This may sound like B.S. but it’s true.
What other job would you like to have? Why?
I’d love to take Ian Wright’s job as host of Lonely Planet. Do I need to explain why?!
What is the most challenging role you have portrayed so far and why?
My role in Imoral because I had to prepare myself mentally before doing the love scene with another man.
Would you do frontal nudity?
Nope.
Would you ever consider having a gay lover in real life?
I don’t think so.

My lips.
Do you think you are hot? Why?
I would like to believe so.
Are you a generous lover?
I would like to believe so also.
What you wouldn’t do in film?
Hmmm, I don’t know. But I would jump out of a plane, run with the bulls and other crazy stuff for a film. I’d even do it even if it wasn’t on film.
How are you as a father to Tomas? How do you spend time with him?
I would like to think that I am doing a good job as a father. I usually spend time with him during his swimming lessons which is two to three times week. We spend time together as much as possible.
What traits did your son inherit from you?
His being makulit.
What advice about love would you give Tomas when he grows up?
The world is your ocean. Fish at different locations. Hahaha.
The most important lesson you have learned about sex and relationship?
It’s give and take.

It’s always hard for me to say goodbye.

A lot, even the smallest things. But I never show my jealousy.

That I’m just another model-turned-actor.

Wakeboarding in Camsur, with Mt. Isarog as a back drop, while the sun is setting.
