In a phone interview, Kim laughed off Dinos comments. She said she has moved on. As a matter of fact, she is seeing a Filipino-Italian-Portuguese young man. She is happy. She is in school taking up Nursing and is working in a catering business. Life is not easy in the States. This Kim knows. But shes happier. She and her dad work in the same building. Once in a while, she enjoys the famous New York life with friends. God knows how much this girl deserves to be happy.
He says, she says. This is always the case in matters of separation. Life is fascinating. God is the ultimate judge. During my interview with Kim, I was a few feet away from her and I heard her giggling like a little girl happy and free. I felt it and I believed it. Its hard to lie about ones feelings up-close. Theres a part of the eye that gives it away. Kims eyes were sparkling.
On the other hand, when Dino saw Kims body language and concluded that she hasnt moved on, he may also have been right. After all, a large part of that moving on is he, and he probably saw himself somewhere in that moment I had with Kim.
But one thing is for sure. Dino and Kim must have closure perhaps in Gods time. Then moving on can begin for both of them.
