The latest to open is the City Garden Hotel in Makati cor. Kalayaan Avenues, ,where an entire floor directly below the penthouse operates as a fully-furnished spa under Dr. Mendez’s body and face clinics.
Dale Villar, who credits Dr. Mendez for his enhanced youthful looks, was among the first to try out the services at the spa. Villar also admits he has had a series of botox treatments from Dr. Mendez and the change has become even more noticeable.
Dr. Mendez has had a number of showbiz people as image models and endorsers but this is the first time a male celebrity has been tapped.
Recently, Star Circle Quest runner-up Joross Gamboa started appearing as endorser in Dr. Mendez’s print ads, proof that the younger set can avail of the body-and-face services.
Among these services popular with his clientele are the rosy peel and whitening facial, the spa services (Shiatsu, Swedish, Thai, Mandara, etc.) and body treatments, particularly the body gommage and herbal seaweed body wrap, which promotes circulation and accelerates detoxification.
Dr. Mendez, who also is a well-known visual artist, is resident of the Philippine Anti-Ageing Medical Society Inc. He has body and face clinics in Glorietta and at Plaza Bldg. in Greenbelt, Buendia and Wilson, Greenhills, Binondo, SM Megamall, SM Fairview, SM City in San Fernando, Pampanga, CSI Dagupan and Gen. Star in Gen. Trias, Mangahan, Cavite and Mega Center, Cabanatuan City.
Other clinics are located at Nepo Mall in Angeles City, at New Farmers Market in Cubao, Metropolis and Metropoint Mall in Alabang.
He also operates the Westin Philippine Plaza Spa.
