The First Philippine Entertainment Exposition is set on April 3 and 4 at the World Trade Center in Roxas Blvd. Manila.
AAFI president Charo Yu and Bing Noel-Joaquin, Global Planners Inc. president signed an agreement last week at the monthly board meeting of the Aliw Awards Foundation.
The Entertainment Expo aims to bring together the various components of the local industry, highlighting the world-class Filipino Entertainers in Music, Dance, Theater, Movies, and Television including allied services and suppliers. Also invited are the various regulating associations and groups that include PARI, PAMI, KBP, NCAA, OPM, Philstage and FILSCAP among others.
The Expo is expected to strengthen the relationship between the government and private sector in promoting local quality entertainment; promote and market local talents, production companies and their services; and provide the convergence of suppliers-sellers exhibitors and the buyer visitors for a two-day business exchange and observation. The comprehensive exhibit will showcase the latest products and trends in the industry and their allied partners.
Expected early participants in the exhibit are tri-media sponsor partners, cinemas, recording companies, concert promoters, talent management agencies, fashion designers and suppliers, audio-visual companies, dance companies, travel and airline companies and selected government agencies. Hourly stage shows, concerts, fashion show, contest and special promotions will entertain visitors to this event which will be open to the public.
