Warner releases Nina’s new album

Nina has something to smile about. She has conquered the music scene with her soulful jams and sensual voice, earning her the title of "Soul of Siren."

With hits like Jealous, Loving You, and Foolish Heart, her debut album has passed the platinum mark. Having won the 2003 Awit Awards and MTV Pilipinas Awards for Best New Artist and the 2003 Teens Voice Awards for Favorite Female Artist, Nina has established herself as the one of the country’s top female performers. Now, she has even more to smile about with the release of her second album, Smile.

Nina promises to be bigger and bolder in her latest offering as she showcases her musical versatility. Tinged with upbeat rhythmic jams and powerful sentimental ballads, Smile brings out that familiar flavor but this time with a surprising twist. Very Nina, yet very different.

Headlining the lineup is her first single Make You Mine, a rich harmonic chemistry of Nina’s mesmerizing vocals and hypnotic urban-style beats with a blend of funky strings, an upbeat R&B piece that offers a blissful listening experience.

Other notable songs to watch out for is Can’t Say I Love You where Nina shows her songwriting skills in a sensually engaging ballad. Also included is her rendition of the pop Madonna classic Shoo-Bee-Doo.

The 12-track album is said to contain all killer tracks with no filler songs. Smile includes revivals of unforgettable classics like I’ll Always Stay in Love This Way, Smile and promising new originals such as A Girl Can Dream, Still Gonna Be Lovin’ You and Sayang Naman.
