Julius Babao and Christine Bersola fulfilled the plan they had as early as three years back, when they dropped three coins in the Trevi Fountain in Rome, and the third coin fell on the foot of St. Anthony of Padua. They took it as a sign that they were meant for each other – forever.
And so it was that, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception the other day, the who’s who of ABS-CBN gathered at the San Antonio de Padua church in Antipolo to witness the transformation of Christine Bersola into Mrs. Julius Babao.
The teary-eyed groom and the bride, shedding tears of joy, had a prolonged, passionate kiss that warmed the cool December air. And when the couple’s arms locked in tight embrace, everyone rejoiced at the triumph of love.
