PULP Slam set tonight

Pulp Summer Slam III, the country’s biggest and loudest annual rock festival, will be held today at the Amoranto Stadium in Quezon City. Over forty top bands will unleash a flurry of musical mayhem on a giant stage including Razorback, Cheese, Kamikazee, Kapatid, Skychurch, Loads of Motherhood, Loss of Control and Dicta License. The show will also feature music veterans such as The Youth and The Wuds and a host of other luminaries such as Barbie’s Cradle, Joey Ayala, Cynthia Alexander, Tropical Depression and Imago.

The Pulp Summer Slam III will also proudly showcase the return of Ely Buendia as well as Bamboo, the original lead singer of Rivermaya. The stadium has a capacity of 50,000. Tickets are on sale at all Odyssey record outlets in Metro Manila for P150. Tickets will also be sold at the gate, but there will be a separate entrance for pre-sold tickets. One free ticket is available in the Pulp Summer Slam CD available at all Odyssey record stores. Gates will open at 12 noon and performances will start promptly at 1 p.m.
