Boom Esports takes top spot in PKL Fall 2026
MANILA, Philippines — Boom Esports emerged as the new pace-setter of the Philippines Kings League (PKL) Fall 2026 after completing an unbeaten Week 3 and sitting atop the standings.
Boom opened its week with a dominant 3-0 victory over Titan Esports Club (TEC) before adding another sweep against Team Nemesis PH. The two wins improved Boom to 7-0 and gave the squad a league-best +17 game differential.
Having suffered a loss to Boom Esports last week, TNT Tropang Alab bounced back with a closely contested 3-2 series against JGame Esports before defeating TEC, 3-1, to improve to 6-1 and move into second place.
JGame likewise finished the week with a 1-1 record. The team fell to TNT in five games but bounced back with a 3-0 sweep of Code Unknown, improving to 5-2 and remaining in third place.
TEC endured its most difficult week of the season after suffering consecutive losses to Boom and TNT. The former leaders dropped to fourth place with a 5-2 record.
Team Nemesis PH split its Week 3 matches, opening with a 3-0 sweep of Team Alpha before falling to Sharkz and Boom Esports. The results left Nemesis at 4-3, good for fifth place and still a chance to qualify to the playoffs directly.
Sharkz recorded a strong week to maintain their place in sixth place. The squad defeated Team Nemesis PH, 3-1, and swept MDM Esports, 3-0, to improve to 3-4 win-lose ratio.
HYVE All Stars also picked up its first victories of the season. After overcoming MDM Esports, 3-1, HYVE followed it up with a 3-0 sweep of Code Unknown to improve to 2-4 and rise to seventh in the standings.
MDM Esports managed one win in three matches, edging Team Alpha, 3-2, to close the week at 2-5.
Both Team Alpha and Code Unknown remain winless with only one week of the regular season left to play.
With the current rankings, Boom Esports secured at least a play-in stage spot, while Code Unknown, having lost seven matches already, is out of contention.
The tournament will take a break as the Honor of Kings national team prepares for the upcoming Asian Games. The final week of the regular season will begin on October 8 with HYVE All Stars against Team Alpha at 4 p.m., followed by Boom Esports versus MDM Esports at 7 p.m.
