Kidnapped baby rescued in Tarlac

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines — A baby girl, one of twins kidnapped during their birthday party at a mall in Las Piñas City last September, was rescued in Victoria, Tarlac yesterday.

Zianne Gana, now seven months old, was reunited with her parents. The family’s former househelper, Roselle Garcia, 42, was arrested.

Reports reaching Camp Olivas said probers learned about the baby’s kidnapping from the Facebook posts of her parents. An informer helped police locate the suspect.

The parents of the victim sought public assistance to find their baby by posting photos of their daughter and Garcia on Facebook.
