Emergency Response Challenge gilusad sa Kapitolyo

CEBU, Philippines - Gilusad sa Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office ang labing unang Emergency Response Challenge.

Kini aron pagsukod sa kapasidad sa mga emergency responders gikan sa mga lungsod ug dakbayan sa tibuok Lalawigan sa Sugbo.

Dili moubos sa 300 ka responders gikan sa 51 ka lungsod ug siyudad ang nitambong sa usa ka adlaw nga kalihukan.

Ang mga responders gihatagan og scenario ug matag responders sa tulo ka clusters kinahanglang magtambayayong alang sa himoong rescue operation.

Ang mga responders gipaubos sa coaching ug hands on exercise sa collapse structure, vehicular extraction ug basic rope operations.

Matud ni Raphael Luche, pangulo sa emergency response division sa PDRRMO, nga ang maong challenge magsilbing preparasyon sa akto nga panghitabo.

Ang Office of the Civil Defense, Department of Health ug Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office maoy nagsilbing evaluators sa competition.

Ang resulta mao nga ang North Cluster maoy third place, second place ang South Cluster ug 1st place ang Central Cluster sa Incident Command Post Category samtang 3rd ang Central Cluster, 2nd ang South ug 1st ang North Cluster alang sa Emergency Response Category.
