US binatikos sa pakikialam sa Marawi crisis
MANILA, Philippines - Mariing kinondena ng Gabriela Women’s Party (GWP) ang mga sundalo ng Amerikano na diumano’y nakialam at sumama sa opensiba na ginagawa ng ating militar laban sa Maute group sa Marawi City.
“A country that gave rise to terrorists and launched wars in many parts of the globe should have no business in crushing terrorists and in supposedly restoring peace in Marawi City. US troops must be immediately kicked out,” sabi ni Rep. Emmi De Jesus.
“This latest case of US military intervention will pave the way for the US military buildup in Mindanao with the martial law declaration as cover. This is in the context of the country’s warming relations with Russia and China. In the end, it is the women and the people who will be victims of heightened militarization while the US makes business out of the war,” dagdag nito.
Samantala, binatikos ni GWP Rep. Arlene Brosas, ang all-out military offensive sa Marawi na nagpapatuloy sa pagwasak at nagdudulot ng panganib sa buhay ng mga kababaihan at mga bata kaya nananawagan ito sa pamahalaan na itigil ang airstrike.
