NBA, WNBA stars grace Jr NBA bash

MANILA, Philippines - Orlando Magic’s Elfrid Payton and retired WNBA star Sue Wicks head the list of speakers in the Jr. NBA Philippines program this weekend at the Mall of Asia in Pasay.
Meanwhile, NBA Philippines head Carlo Singson said that Oklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter will join Payton and Wicks in the Jr. NBA Program.
“He’ll also drop by to meet and speak to the Jr. NBA Philippine campers. What a treat,” Singson said in his Twitter account @SingsonCarlo.
Kanter arrived in the country the other day to launch a charitable foundation named after him. He was supposed to leave today but decided to stay a little bit longer.
“The Filipinos are the best fans in the world, I mean their passion is really amazing,” said Kanter.
