LIVE: Supreme Court tackles De Lima's petitions – Day 2
MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court on Tuesday will conduct its second round of oral arguments on the petitions filed by detained Sen. Leila de Lima against Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 204 Presiding Judge Juanita Guerrero.
Former Solicitor General Florin Hilbay is arguing for De Lima while current Solicitor General Jose Calida is representing respondents in the petition including Guerrero, Philippine National Police Director General Ronald Dela Rosa, Police Superintendent Philip Gil Philipps, and PNP Custodial Unit’s Superintendent Arnel Jamandron Apud. Only Hilbay was able to present his arguments last Tuesday.
