Aboitiz Foundation donates classrooms

MANILA, Philippines - The Aboitiz Foundation, the social development arm of the Aboitiz Group, and AP Renewables Inc.-Makban recently turned over classrooms to San Felix Elementary School in Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Since 2011, the Aboitiz Foundation, in partnership with Aklat, Gabay at Aruga Tungo sa Pag-angat at Pag-asa, has spent over P124 million to build 216 classrooms in 108 schools nationwide. More than half of its annual budget goes to projects that support the country’s public education system. Thirty more classrooms are slated to be donated by Aboitiz this year.
