P1.8M to Cordillera Conservation Trust

MANILA, Philippines - Globe SVP for corporate communications Yoly Crisanto turns over P1.8 million to the Cordillera Conservation Trust (CCT) represented by its Executive Director JP Alipio for the establishment of 45 seedling nurseries in the Cordillera mountain ranges, bringing the total to 100 since the project was launched in 2012. CCT operates the Roots & Shoots program to produce seedlings for tree planting purposes. The Cordilleras is the first Community of Practice of Globe, receiving assistance in good governance, entrepreneurship, environment and sustainability, social services and volunteerism.
