RoS backs 3x3 U-18 tilt

MANILA, Philippines - Twelve teams have confirmed participation in the 3x3 Under-18 Challenge basketball tournament which unfurls on Friday at the Activity Center of SM Fairview.

Tipped as the teams to beat in the two-day event with Rain or Shine Paints as one of the major sponsors are Ateneo and La Salle Greenhills.

Edison Oribiana of Rain or Shine said Hope Christian High School and Xavier School are also expected to contend in the tournament backed by Ace Hardware, Adidas, and SM Fairview.

Hope Christian will be represented by former national team member Jollo Go and 7-foot-7 Tsaddy Rangel who recently earned a slot in the NBA Jr. All- Star.

Other participating teams are Far Eastern University, University of Perpetual Help, St. Stephen’s High School, Pasay Chung Hua, Arellano University, Grace Christian College, Quezon City Science High School and St. Paul College.
