Faye kabisote malungkot ang pasko
Nalulungkot si Gwen Zamora dahil for the first time in three years ay wala siyang pelikula sa Metro Manila Film Festival.
Si Gwen ang gumaganap na si Faye Kabisote sa mga pelikulang Enteng Kabisote ni Vic Sotto.
Una siyang pumareha kay Bossing Vic sa Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote noong 2010. Sumunod ang Enteng ng Ina Mo noong 2011. At noong nakaraang taon naman ay sa Si Agimat, si Enteng Kabisote at si Ako.
“Mami-miss ko lang playing Faye Kabisote at ‘yung nagwe-wave kami kapag may parade,†sey ni Gwen.
Kaya this Christmas ay baka lumipad ng Europe si Gwen dahil kinuha siyang celebrity endorser ng KLM Airlines.
Baka raw sa bansang Amsterdam siya mag-Pasko kasama ang kanyang parents. Hindi raw makakasama sa trip niyang ito ang kanyang boyfriend na si Raymund Romualdez.
“It’s a family trip kasi. I think this is the first time na magkakasama kaming buong family on a Christmas vacation.â€
Sa Friday na ang huling episode ng Binoy Henyo sa GMA 7. Feeling relieved na si Gwen dahil na-survive niya ang nine weeks ng show kung saan gumanap siyang kontrabida ni Sheena Halili.
Pelikula tungkol sa batang maagang nabuntis pasok din sa iba’t ibang filmfest
Napanalunan ng Kapuso child actress na si Barbara Miguel ang Best Actress award mula sa Harlem International Film Festival para sa kanyang pagganap sa indie film na Nuwebe.
Ginanap ang naturang film festival sa New York City mula September 11 hanggang 15.
Naging isa sa entries ng New Breed Category ng 9th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival ang Nuwebe na dinirek ni Joseph Israel Laban. Kasama rin sa pelikula ay sila Nadine Samonte, Anita Linda, at Jake Cuenca.
Imbitado rin ang Nuwebe sa Montreal and Vancouver International Film Festivals in Canada at sa Goteberg International Film Festival in Sweden.
Ito ang second acting award ni Barbara since pumasok ito sa showbiz noong 2011. Napanalunan niya ang best child actress award sa 61st FAMAS Awards para sa kanyang performance sa indie film na Migrante.
Ang Harlem International Film Festival or “Hi†ay nabuo para parangalan ang mga films na “honest and thought-provoking portrayals of our worldâ€.
Ayon pa sa website ng naturang festival (www.harleminternationalfilmfestival.org ): “Hi actively seeks and exhibits fresh and dynamic works that possess a universal appeal.
“Hi is committed to exemplifying the eminence that Harlem represents and is dedicated to bringing attention to the best filmmakers from around the world.

Kabilang nga sa Board of Advisors ng Hi ay sina Oscar winner Susan Sarandon, Oscar nominated director Mira Nair, Obie winning playwright Eve Ensler and Emmy-winning actor Keith David.
Ang pelikulang Clutter na bida sila Natasha Lyone, Carol Kane at Joshua Leonard ang nanalong Best Film ng Hi for 2013.
Ang Best Actor naman ay napanalunan ni Mike Wiley for DAR HE: The Lynching of Emmett Till.
Best director is Eric Haywood of Four of Hearts.
