Binay to OFWs in Egypt: Come home

MANILA, Philippines - Vice President Jejomar Binay yesterday urged overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Egypt to come home amid continued violence there.

Binay, presidential adviser on OFW concerns, said the government has ordered the mandatory repatriation of Filipinos in Egypt.

“I am asking our OFWs in Egypt to avail of the repatriation and return home in the meantime because the situation is getting worse, especially in Cairo,” he said.
