Chase Tower Runs now 2-0

CEBU, Philippines — The Chase Tower Runs (CTR) dominated the previously undefeated Blancas Golden Knights, 87-76, to go 2-0 in the Cebu City Christmas Basketball Tournament 2025 on Thursday night, December 18, at the Cebu City Sports Institute Gym in Barangay Sawang Calero.

Emman Calo fired 20 points with two rebounds, two assists, and a steal while Kenny Rogers Rocacurva added 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a block for CTR, which kept the Golden Knights at bay since racing to a hot 19-4 start.

CTR was in complete command of the match from thereon, surging ahead by as much as 17 points, 66-49, late in the third period.

Steve Nash Enriquez dropped a game-high 24 points while Chris Catarong tallied 11 markers with six boards but their efforts went to the dustbin as the Golden Knights saw their two-game winning streak come to an end.

In the other game, Ricofer Sordilla exploded for 30 points with five rebounds, four assists, and three steals as the Richieboy Ballers barged into the win column with a 95-75 rout of the Mighty Warriors of God.

Kent Ivo Salarda banged in 15 points and five rebounds, while Neon Chavez and AJ Sacayan combined for 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Richieboy Ballers, who never looked back after taking a 29-17 lead at the end of the opening session.

Jaybie Mantilla bagged 21 points, Tansiong Bongansiso submitted a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds while Steven Ursal and Joshua de la Cerna scored 12 points each for the Mighty Warriors, who lost for the second time in a row.
