CEBU, Philippines — The Core Pacific Group extended its hot streak to three games with an 82-66 thrashing of the Magis Medical Fund in the Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Season 27 at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles Arena in Barangay Canduman, Mandaue City.

Jeremy Ryan Huang scattered 22 points, four rebounds, and three assists, while SHAABAA chairman Afshin Ghassemi sank two 3-pointers of his 11 points as Core Pacific firmed up its grip of the solo Division A lead with an immaculate 3-0 slate.

Nico Oyas, Jerick Doncillo, and Arturo Mejares combined for 36 points but their efforts went in vain as the Magis Medical Fund crashed to its third consecutive loss.

In the other Division A game, Derick Mangubat cashed in 16 points, nine boards, four assists, and four steals, while Jacob Soberano and Paulsen Uy tallied 23 markers in between them as the GMall of Cebu pounded the 2kcares.org, 84-32, for its second victory in three starts.

In Division C, Rendell Senining sizzled with 30 points on top of nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals to power the defending champion Nest Workspaces Batch 2013 to an 89-72 whacking of Bright Lamps N Style Batch 2022.

Arc Araw-Araw banged in 23 points and nine assists, while Emman Malazarte had 16 points and 10 rebounds as Batch 2013 stayed on top of the heap with a 5-1 record.

In other results, Popoy Navarro netted 20 points and hauled 11 rebounds as the Cebu Landmasters/CloudKart Batch 2014 downed CSAS Batch 2024, 65-57, Benedict Andre Chua produced a monster double-double show of 28 points and 14 rebounds to capult Xchange Forex Batch 2018 to an 81-56 rout of FADI Batch 2021, while Mitch Almodal dropped 20 points to lift Global Star Motors Batch 2020 to an 81-60 demolition of GAB Airconditioning Batch 2023.
