Guiseppe FC booters kick way to golden glory
CEBU, Philippines — Gyle Veloso fired the winning goal as Guiseppe FC edged Real Galaxy, 1-0, in the final match to clinch the championship title in the Under 12 division of the 6th Magis Eagles Football Cup recently at the Julian Herando Athletics Field of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) in Barangay Canduman, Mandaue City.
Tom Pantinople romped away with the Most Valuable Player trophy, while Jhames Mikhail Gavas received the Golden Boot award.
The other members of the Guiseppe FC U12 champion team are Eze Omega, James Torillo, Josea Benedict Mabini, Jhairel Rosel, Aaron Galdo, Mael Christin, John Riekz Llorag, Franz Juntilla, and Mino Larrañaga.
They are under the guidance of head coach Hayato Ayabe and his deputy coach Reeve Sumayod.
Guiseppe FC also takes pride for bagging bronze medal in the Under 10 age group.
Behind the tutelage of coach Carlbian Ladios, the Guiseppe FC U10 squad is composed of Khal Pepito,
Caleb De Leon, Nikko Sostinto, Kylo Baunsit, Blake Angulo, Tristan Imboy, Makarios Cavalida, Miguel Soquiño,
Eliana Menchavez, Joseph Boiser, Dwayne Aurea, and Brent Simtoco.
