CEBU, Philippines — The rampaging Dynata Warriors rolled to their eighth straight win at the expense of Optum Knights, 62-52, to earn a share of the EVO League lead in the Tanduay Athletics CSCC E-Leagues for Basketball Season 15 at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym last Sunday.

Tommy Ugsimar piled up 24 points, eight rebounds, four steals and two assists as the Warriors joined the Contact Solutions Flying Lemurs  atop the leaderboard with identical 12-2 win-loss cards.

Reme Densing was the lone double-digit scorer with 10 for the Knights, who suffered their fourth loss in 15 games.

On the other hand, Ariel Edera and Matthew Grafilo connived for 55 points, 13 assists, 12 steals and eight rebounds as the Kyocera Frontiers trounced the CTC-BPO Panthers, 90-60, to raise their mark to 11-2.

Junrey Cabarrubias was the other bright spot with 11 points for the Frontiers, who launched a fierce 21-7 offensive in the second quarter to send the Panthers wobbling the rest of the way.

Michael Sargeant, Al Magsanay and Marvin Bacaltos tallied 41 points across their names but to no avail as the Panthers stayed winless in 14 starts.

Also on a hot trail are the Dyninno Jets, who clobbered the Cognizant Tech Solutions, 85-58, for their fifth consecutive win.

Rainer Obenza, Michael Labagala, and Raymond Basanez conspired for 45 points as the Paladins bettered their record to 10-5. Cognizant dropped to 2-12.

Not to be outdone, the Demand Science Paladins notched back-to-back triumphs after crushing the Author Solutions Philippines Inc. (ASPI) Hardbacks, 92-70.

John Camasura dropped 34 points on top of eight rebounds and five assists to tow Demand Science to its only fourth victory in 14 matches. Camasura was ably backed up by Jeffer Ardiente and Frances Manzanares with 12 points apiece and Andrew Martel with 10 markers.

The Hardbacks slipped to 5-10 despite drawing 25 points from Ellison Rivera and 17 from Antonio Nocos.

In the other results, Executive Boutique (10-4) escaped past Tech Mahindra (9-5), 70-66, Amazon (9-5) edged the Results Mactan Newtown (6-8), 80-77, while Shearwater (4-11) upended Iploy (2-12), 79-73.
