Mandaue Olympic Karatedo slated April 27

CEBU, Philippines —  Over 200 karatekas coming from different parts of the Visayas are expected to take part in the 3rd Mandaue City Olympic Karatedo Tournament set on April 27 at the Atrium of J Centre Mall in A.S. Fortuna, Mandaue City.

Organized by the Central Visayas Union of Karatedo Organizations, Inc. (CVUKOI), the two-day event features kids, novice, intermediate (for colored belts), advanced students and black belt seniors open categories.

Supported by the Union of Philippine Karatedo Organizations, Inc.(UPKORI) and the Mandaue City Sports Commission, the tournament also serves as the 2019 UPKORI National Invitational Karate Championship.

Cebuano karatekas will face tough challenges from participants coming from Bohol, Surigao and Negros Oriental.

Registration fee is pegged at P500, while Mandaue City participants is free. Deadline of registration is on April 23.
