20th Aboitiz bootfest to kick off Sept. 22
CEBU, Philippines — The 20th Aboitiz Cup football tournament will kick off on September 22 at the Cebu City Sports Center.
A total of 16 categories will be contested including three mixed and four all-female. The rest are all-male action.
The mixed categories include the 7, 9 and 11-under, while the girls has the ladies open, inter-BPO, 15 and 18-under.
The all-male group consists of boys 13, 15,18 and 21-under, 38 and 45-above, inter-BPO, inter-company, and men’s open.
Aside from the champion’s trophy, there will also be individual awards to the top performing players in each class.
Registration is now going on at the Cebu Football Association office located outside the Cebu City Sports Center.
To finalize everything, the organizers are calling on all coaches or their team representatives for a meeting at 7:00 tonight at Jollibee-Mango Avenue branch.
The meeting will be focused on the opening day activities, tournament ground rules and schedule of games.
