Bantilan is CETBA's best for March
CEBU, Philippines — Defending overall champion Roland Bantilan bolstered his chances of winning back-to-back Bowler of the Year awards after topping the March edition of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) monthly tournament at the SM City-Cebu Bowling Center over the weekend.
Bantilan finished the six-game series with the best output of 1,280 pinfalls.
Danny Sabang settled for second with 1,272 followed by Beth Ngo with 1,265 pins.
Rounding up the top 10 cast were Gretchen Tormis (1,262), Noel Tanyu (1,251), Makoto Osada(1,247), Emi Osada(1,227), Ging Francisco(1,216), Baby Bacon(1,206) and Marvin Sevilla (1,200).
Aside from Bantilan, the other players who already qualified for the grand finals this December are Marvin Sevilla and Hadji Baracal. (FREEMAN)
