DBTC seizes 3 titles in Sinulog bootfest
CEBU, Philippines – The Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) booters made up for their absence last year by grabbing several titles in the 2016 edition of the Cebu Football Association-organized Sinulog Football Festival at their home turf in Barangay Punta Princesa yesterday.
After the first day of action in the two-day tilt, the Bosconians swept the boys 15, boys 13 and under-7 crowns, so far.
Dustin Ramirez knocked in the game-clincher as DBTC reclaimed its under-15 throne with a 1-0 triumph over Tabor Hills.
DBTC's under-7 squad also had a good time after dominating the league-type event over the returning Guiseppe FC.
A few moments later, DBTC Team 1 lorded it over the under-13 age group after beating the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, 1-0.
In the women's side, St.Theresa's College snared the under-15 diadem after crushing Phoenix FC in the penalty shootout, 2-0. (FREEMAN)
