TCC lifters shine in PNG
CEBU, Philippines - After swimming, Team Cebu City also showed its might in weightlifting during the Visayas leg of the Philippine National Games in Antique.
The TCC weightlifters brought home a total of 11 golds, nine silvers and six bronzes.
Little-known Earl John Peter Bagano and Apple Ayaron led the charge with two golds and a silver apiece in their respective classes.
Kevin Renzo Nisnisan and Doren Romeral got two golds and a bronze each. The other gold medal contributors were Kelly Kay Rojas, Gary Hortelano and Rufino Iba III.
Christopher Bureros and Jefferson Querubin both settled with a silver along with Jelly Mae Pederes.
