CEBU, Philippines – The Convergys Converters and the Accenture Sharks triumphed over separate foes in the Elite Classic of the 11th CSCC E-League men's basketball tournament last Saturday at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Franz Dione Dysam and Lourenz Limpangog fired 15 points each to rally the Converters past the Sykes Pioneers, 67-62, while Accenture turned to the deadly one-two punch of Ildefonso Bulangis Jr. and Archie Batua to knock down the Wipro Tigers, 82-77.

Dysam also hauled 10 rebounds, while Sherwin Anghay added 12 points for the Converters, who used a strong opening statement, 26-9, to dictate the pace of the match. On the other hand, Bulangis churned out 23 points, four rebounds and three assists, while Batua banged in 20 points on top of 10 rebounds and three assists as Accenture bettered its win-loss record to 3-2.
