Univille bootfest on today
CEBU, Philippines - Close to a hundred teams will see action as the first Univille Homes Football Festival kicks off at 7:30 a.m. today at the Cebu City Sports Center.
Rain or shine or until the field in still playable, the battle will push through as scheduled.
The categories to be contested are the under-7, 9, 11 and 13. The boys and girls 15 and 18 wil take place tomorrow yet.
The contenders of the Cebu Football Association-sanctioned event will play in a 7-a-side format.
Aside from the games, there will also be some side events like the shooting accuracy and the cross-bar challenge to be handled by Voltaire Montebon, a former football player who just completed the rigorous Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3. Philippines.— Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (FREEMAN)
