4 Cebuanos to join Singapore International Triathlon

CEBU, Philippines - Four Cebuanos bid for top honors in this year's edition of the Singapore International Triathlon today at the East Coast Park.

They are the Chiongbian brothers Yuan and Justin, Ralph So and lone female bet Aaliyah Mataragnon.

The Cebuano triathletes are expected to be in their best form especially that all of them have different reasons of joining.

Justin Chiongbian aims at redemption after a so-so performance during the Asian Triathlon Championships in the New Taipei City, Taiwan last June.

Yuan, for his part, wants an impressive performance in Singapore as he prepares for his last Ironkids race next month in Lapu-Lapu City.

For So and Mataragnon, this is their last international race for the youth division. Both are no longer competing in the Ironkids action as well due to age limit.
