Over 2,000 runners to join RC Goldline-Half Marathon
CEBU, Philippines - Over 2,000 runners are expected to participate in the first ever RC Goldline-Half marathon slated on April 12 starting and ending at the Cebu Business Park.
“We carry the theme ‘get connected’ because as a cellphone and gadget store, we want to connect families and friends through running,” said Christian Paro-an, RC Goldline saleshop president, during a press conference yesterday at the Bayfront Hotel.
“Not only for exercise and healthy living, we want everyone to have fun and get connected to their love ones by running together in this race.”
Aside from the 21K half-marathon, the race will also feature 12K, 6K and 3K fun run.
Cash prizes and gift packs will be given away to the top three finishers in the 21K, 12K and 6K Open, while the 3K will be awarded medal and certificates.
The champion in the half marathon race will receive P5,000, while the second placer will pocket P4,500 and P4,000 for the third place.
Those who will not win in the race will have a chance to go home with exciting prizes in the raffle that will be done after the run.
Registration fee is pegged at P600 for 21K, P500 for 12K, P400 for 6K and P300 for 3K inclusive of singlet, post-race refreshments and Kapamilya sim. Entry forms are available at all RC Goldline branches here in Cebu. (FREEMAN)
