All set for final leg of Tri Team series in Dalaguete tomorrow

CEBU, Philippines - Some of Cebu's seasoned and aspiring triathletes are all set to plunge into action in the final leg of the three-part Team Triathlon Championships in Dalaguete tomorrow.

Benjoe Gimenez, one of the event organizers, said it's going to be another exciting battle in the men's division, while in the distaff side, Cebu's triathlon queen Lorhiz Echavez-Lopez leads an equally-strong field of entries. It will be her first race of the year.

The Team Omega Pro mainstay is expected to face tough challenge from defending champion Cianyl Gonzales of Team Parklane and a bunch of young aspiring triathletes.

A total of 162 entries have signed up for the three-in-one tilt, 30 of them are under the kiddies division that features the 8-under, 9-10, 11-12, and the 13-14 age groups.  (FREEMAN)
