Argao set to host triathlon race, fun run
CEBU, Philippines - The town of Argao in southern Cebu will play host to back-to-back sporting events starting off with the Hunat Sugbu Triathlon on September 21.
Over 400 triathletes will take part in this Sunday's race spearheaded by Cebu Parklane International Hotel. The one-day tilt features the standard and sprint distances.
The standard distance will have the individual and relay competition.
After triathlon, Argao will stage the Color Run on September 27. It's the first time that the event will be held outside of Cebu City.
It’s purely a fun run covering five kilometers. To spice up the show, the organizers will hold a special contest for the most colorful besties, family and barkada as well as the best in costume and the youngest and oldest runners.
As an added treat for the participants, there will be a zumba session before the run and a post-race party.
Entry fee for the fun run is pegged at P450 inclusive of a souvenir shirt, race bib, finisher’s medal, running tag, holi powder, zumba session, and a pass for the after race party.
