Reuyan Compound rules inter-sitio caging in Consolacion
CEBU, Philippines - Reuyan Compound blasted Capao Compound, 110-87, to win the seniors division championship of the Brgy. Poblacion Occidental Inter-Sitio Basketball Summer League 2014 in Consolacion.
Clarence Reuyan exploded with 30 points to become the hands-down choice as tournament MVP. Playing coach Kurt Flores pumped in 28 points spiked with eight 3-pointers, while Kikurt Reuyan added 26 points in their 23-point blowout of the hapless Capao side.
Reuyan Compound, which is also mentored by Ondo Reuyan, actually scored a clean sweep as it also bagged the titles in the mini, midget, juniors and open category.
The event was made possible through the support of Brgy. Capt. Marilou P. Casul. Rexan Lynn P. Casul served as sports chairman, with Pafom Pepito acting as commissioner.
