Warhawk off to winning start in Lancer caging

CEBU, Philippines - Team Warhawk of Popular Feeds, Inc. took all what Gullas Hospital could offer on the way to hack out a 70-53 victory at the start of Season 2 of the Lancer Security Agency Basketball Tournament held at the University of the Visayas-Main gym last Sunday.

Warhawk, which topped the inaugural season played in Argao, hopes to sustain its momentum as it takes on next Anseca Dev. and KEPCO Power Plant of Naga City. Led by playing coach Ranulfo Alivio, the team is also supported by Rey Gebirolla.

In the other games, Anseca bested Lucero Residence, 87-58, Gullas Residence whipped KEPCO, 71-55, while UV Branch escaped with a 60-56 win over Lancer Staff.
