Mayor’s Office scores 5-0 sweep in City Hall cagefest

CEBU, Philippines - Mayor Mike Rama had another explosive performance, churning out 37 points spiked with nine 3-pointers to power the Mayor's Office to a ruthless 75-point demolition of the City Treasurer's Office (CTO), 142-67, in the Cebu City Hall Inter-Department Basketball Tournament  at the newly-refurbished San Nicolas Sports Complex.

It was truly a superb performance for the City's chief executive, who played only in the second and third quarters.

Rama got huge backing from Jun Borres with 24 points. Former CIT Wildcat Emilio Aniñon chipped in 20 markers, while ex-UV Lancer Rene Toring and Andre Otarra scored 12 points apiece as the Mayor's Office earned an outright semifinal berth for completing a clean 5-0 sweep in the elimination round.

Former USJ-R Jaguar Argiel Magan and ex-SIT Skyblazer Jun Babatid had 10 points each to complete the heavy scoring package for Team Rama .
