CDL tourney resumes tonight

CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Darters’ League returns to action tonight at the Baseline Sports and Recreation Center.

The tournament was set last Friday but was postponed due to typhoon Basyang.

Tonight's action will be a new battle as the organizers of the event decided to give equal points to the nine darters who braved the bad weather last Friday.

Among those who showed up includes league leader Steve Montenegro, Richard Delos Reyes, Doging Saberon, Tata Atillo, Angelito Badayos, Jerome Perales, John Jade Diniay and Carl Anthony Perales.

Montenegro has accumulated 55 points going into tonight's action while Rodmar Branzuela trails with 45 points.

Jomar Amerol and Atillo, for their part have 35 points respectively for third place, while Perales placed fourth with 23 points and Rollie Opura in fifth.

For those who are interested to join, entry fee is pegged at P50, P40 for 15-18 years-old players and P30 for youth darters. (FREEMAN)
