Energen Family Run set this Sunday
CEBU, Philippines - Over a thousand runners are expected to participate in the last leg of the nationwide Energen Family Run 2 this Sunday at the Parkmall in Mandaue City.
The race will feature 3-kilometer, 5K and 10K categories.
The nationwide running event kicked off in Manila last October 27, followed by another race in Davao last November 17.
Prizes and medals await the winners in each category, while non-winners will also have a chance to win in the raffle draw after the race that includes mountain bikes and android phones from Lenovo.
But organizers said that runners need to beat the cut-off time in each distance to be able to qualify in the raffle. Qualifying time in the 3K is 25 minutes, 35 minutes for 5K, while 10K finishers should finish the race in one hour and five minutes.
Entry fee is pegged at P200 for the 3K, P300 for the 5K and P400 for the 10K inclusive of snacks, race bib, timing chip and singlet.
Registration centers include Chris Sports in SM City Cebu and Ayala Center Mall. (FREEMAN)
