All set for PSC-PHILTA Junior netfest

CEBU, Philippines - Some of  the country's up and coming netters will once again converge in the Queen City of  the South for the PSC-PHILTA Junior Tennis Championships on October 28 at the CITCI-Consolacion Tennis Club in Brgy. Laray, Consolacion.

The event features the singles and doubles event. The singles covers the 10-under unisex and boys and girls 12, 14, 16 and 18-under, while the doubles will have the 10-under unisex, and 14 and 18-under age groups.

The group 2-sanctioned event by the Philippine Tennis Association (PHILTA) is supported by the local government of Consolacion and Slazenger.

Among the top players from Manila to watch out for are Manuel Balce III, Jose Thomas Bernardo, and Ma. Dominique Ong.

They will have their hands full against Cebu's top bets in the likes of Jana Pages, Cesar Kristofer and Kristin Renee Salimbangon, Harland Hogan, Francis Gener Lambayan, Shyne Villareal, Zethley Mae Alferez , Marc Suson, and Jan Godfrey Seno.

A player from Hong Kong in Noelle Vanasse Wilbert is also joining the competition.

The deadline for the submission of entries is on October 26 at noontime.

After Cebu, the junior tennis circuit shifts to Lapaz Tennis Club in Lapaz, Iloilo City on November 4-10 followed by the Bacolod leg on November 11-17 at Noah’s Haven Tennis Club.
