Football caravan set in ‘Lacion

CEBU, Philippines - After the Victory Cup, the municipality of Consolacion plays host to three football tournaments dubbed as the 'Football Fiesta Caravan', which will kick off on October 12 at the Sta. Lucia football field.

The first to be staged is the two-day, 9-a-side action on October 12-13 featuring the boys and girls 17-under, executive 38-above, inter-company, and the premire men's and women open categories.

Afterwhich, the fourth edition of the Engineers Fiesta Cup will take place on October 19-20. It has two format, the 5-a-side for players under 7, 9 and 11 and the 7-a-side for boys 13, 15 and 18 along with the girls 15 and 18, ladies, 38-above and men's open.

The third event will be a series of 11-a-side friendly matches under the boys 12, boys and girls 17, boys 19, ladies open, men's inter-company, inter-BPO, 38-above, men's open division A and B.

To finalize everything, the organizers led by Engr. Nilo Ferraren have scheduled a coaches' meeting on October 5 and 9 both set at 5 pm at SM City Consolacion's outdoor terrace foodcourt.
