Tutor and Largo rule 5K category in ‘GA..Pangga Sa Tisa Fun Run’

CEBU, Philippines - Christy Sevilleno-Tutor and Michael Largo stamped their respective classes in the 5K open category of the 1st Guardo Araneta 'GA..Pangga Sa Tisa Fun Run" over the weekend starting and ending at the Tisa barangay hall.

Tutor took home the champion's trophy in the women's division with the time of 26 minutes and 30 seconds, while Lorenz Diola came out second with a 39:39.10 clocking. Marly Busa of IGAT Running Club claimed the third place honors with the time of 29:58.10.

Largo lorded it over in the men's side with the fastest time of 18 minutes and 9.37 seconds. Diory Ycong wound up second in 18:12.28, while Marvin Maano clocked in 20:46.74 good for a third place finish.

Cebu City Councilors Margot Osmeña and Ritchie Osmeña, Tisa barangay councilors Eddie Cabulao, Jeson L. Guardo, Whendel Aranera and Mayor Pedrano were on hand to award the trophies to the winners.

The race was fully supported by the Tisa barangay council led by Brgy. Capt. Teresita L Cabulao, Labangon Brgy. Captain Victor Buendia and hon Rudy Tabasa.

Organized by G-Concept and Jeson L. Guardo, the event was also being held in partnership with PCSI, Eyeberry, Cupcaken, Barako Bull, Mang Tinapay and Skydrops. (FREEMAN)
