Oz Racing to host Descent Force m’bike race

CEBU, Philippines - After the enduro race next month, another sporting battle of national level is set to take place here in Cebu, the Oz Racing's Descent Force on September 14 in Cansomoroy, Balamban.

The uphill event serves as Round 5 of the Downhill Riders Organization of the Philippines (DROP) National Series.

The competition will be classified into different age-brackets and levels.

These include the 19-under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-above, expert and open elite.

Aside from sponsoring the Cebu action, Oz Racing top honco Zandro Fajardo said they will also be bringing in a Singaporean downhiller and some of their top-caliber riders.

This is the second time for Cebu to be included in DROP's calendar, giving the Cebuanos an opportunity to race against the rest of the country's top downhillers.

Prior to the Cebu race, the Cebuanos are also invited to join in Round 4 of the DROP Series billed as the 22nd Combat Mountainbike Race on August 25 in Cagayan de Oro City. (FREEMAN)
