KN Ferraren booters score twinkill in Victory Cup
CEBU, Philippines - KN Ferraren scored a twinkill in the Victory Cup 2013 football tournament last Sunday at the Sta. Lucia field in Consolacion.
KN Ferraren bested 24 other contenders to reign supreme in bith the men's open and the men's 38-above category.
Chavey Recaplaza stole the thunder as KN Ferraren pulled off a 2-0 triumph over San Roque Rehab in their men's open final. Recaplaza went to lift the MVP trophy.
KN Ferraren of team owner Engr. Nilo Ferraren also snared the men's 38-above crown after beating Hiroshi.
On the other hand, the University of San Carlos-Basic Education also secured two titles via the under-11 and under-13 divisions.
USC-BED A bagged the under-11 title after demolishing Tabor Hills B, 1-0, while its team B topped the under-13 class after whipping Suba-Basbas, 2-0.
Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu and Subangdaku FC also got a title each.
SHS-AdC ruled the boys 15 after a 3-0 whitewash of Frasec, while Subangdaku FC upended Leylam, 1-0, to lord it over in the boys 17. (FREEMAN)
