Ironman entries to fine-tune skills in Moonyeen Durano Triathlon Cup

CEBU, Philippines - Participants of the upcoming Ironman 70.3 Philippines have a perfect venue to further fine-tune their skills with the staging of the 2013 Sogod Mayor Moonyeen Durano-Streegan Triathlon Cup set on July 21 in Alegre Beach Resort.

The event features a sprint and standard distance. The sprint covers 750-meter swim, 20K bike and 5K run, while the standard, which will have an individual and relay category, follows at 1.5-kilometer swim, 40K bike and 10K run.

The organizers are giving a discounted rate of P800 for those who register on or before July 15, while the rest will have to pay P1,000 until July 19.

All the finishers will get a souvenir shirt, medal and certificate and lunch during the awarding.

The overall top three male and female finishers in the standard race will pocket a uniform cash prize of P5, 000, P3,000, and P2,000, while the top performers in the sprint event will receive watches, the second placers sun glasses and the third bags from Rudy Project.
